
Kansas Honor Flight
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Kansas Honor Flight Hutchinson Volunteers 4th Annual Car Show is coming up Saturday, June 24 from 5 p.m to 8 p.m. at Midway Motors in Hutchinson.
Registration at the show is $25. Contact the Kansas Honor Flight for pre-registration information.
There will be hamburger and hot dog meal deals, popcorn and drinks available for purchase.
The Kansas Honor Flight volunteers work to honor Kansas veterans of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War by providing them with an all expense paid three day trip to visit their memorials in Washington, D.C. The organization also works to educate the youth and communities throughout Kansas about the impact of these historic wars and the freedoms our nation enjoys because of the service of our veterans.
The trip cost is approximately $900 per veteran. There are about 500 Kansas Veterans waiting to go on this once in a lifetime trip.
