Constance Jeannine Nusser/Connie passed away at 71 years old in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a long-fought 6-year battle with Breast Cancer and passed away May 22, 2026. They worked a farm and were down the road to their Grandparents who had a farm, milk cows, and horses. She loved to ride horses.

Connie graduated high school and obtained a Master of Business from KU. She was an avid fan of the University of Kansas all her life and continued watching most of their games. After graduation from the University, she worked for IBM as a computer programmer for 10 years then started showing greyhound dogs. She won many State and National dog show awards and helped others learn how to train dogs. Waylon, one of her dogs who won awards, was on the cover of a national magazine. She was a member of the American Kennel Association. This new passion of hers led her to move to Tulsa and work for several Veterinary Hospitals and eventually Petco as a Manager. She loved working with her dogs and other animals.

In 2020 she was diagnosed with Cancer; then came to live with and become a part of her cousin’s- Cynthia and husband Rick Melton’s family. She celebrated many joyous occasions; making Christmas cookies, singing, and enjoying laughter and Love. Before her passing she dedicated her life to Jesus and was baptized in the Lord. Connie loved the Lord with all her heart and couldn’t wait for her new life in Heaven. Her Joy was full In the Lord. Her hope would be to unite her family and friends in the same love and forgiveness she had received. Her parents preceded her in death along with her “Beloved Brother” -Gene.
