HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Stage 9 begins the new year with an old favorite Neil Simon comedy, Barefoot in the Park.
"It's about two newlyweds, Corie and Paul, as they move into their new New York apartment and get adjusted to living as married people," said director Mykala Lugafet.
The play has a small cast, with four walk on roles and the four main characters.
"The main four people who will be on stage most of the time are Corie and Paul, who are about mid to late 20s, early 30s and then there is Mr. Velasco and Corie's mother who are going to be a little bit older."
Auditions will be held Saturday, Jan. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 10 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.at Stage 9, 9 S. Main St.
"Just bring yourself and a pen and be ready to show me what you've got," Lugafet said.
