Shana LaDawn Garcia, 44, of McPherson, KS, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024, surrounded by family at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. 

Shana was born on May 5, 1980, in Cañon City, CO, the loving daughter of Michael Eugene and Tracy Ellen (Parsell) Miller. She graduated from Sterling High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society.  She continued her education and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources at DeVry Institute.  On August 30, 2017, Shana was united in marriage to Gerald Eusevio Garcia in Lindsborg, KS.

She worked at Pfizer in McPherson for 20 plus years, most recently as a Quality Manager.

Shana was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and American Legion Riders.

Survivors include her loving husband, Gerald Garcia; children, Wyatt Seidl (fiancé, Liberty Luetters) of Liberal, KS, Addison Seidl (fiancé Mikey Werschem) of Norman, OK, Brody Seidl of McPherson, KS, Frank Garcia of McPherson, KS, and Jerra Garcia of McPherson, KS; parents, Michael & Marlene Miller of Canton, KS and Tracy Miller of Lyons, KS; siblings, Ashton Miller (fiancé, Shane Emery) of Omaha, NE, Holli Henoch (Tyler) of Salina, KS, Brandon Miller (Becky) of Sedgwick, KS, and Seth Miller (fiancé, Elise Vishnefske) of McPherson, KS; grandparents, Billy & Charlotte Haines of Cañon City, CO; aunts, Pam Threet (Jimmy) and Sarah Haines, all of Cañon City, CO; and many extended family members and friends. 

She was preceded in death by Ben Haines.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Monday, July 29, 2024, at Countryside Covenant Church, 940 E. Northview, McPherson.  The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Countryside Covenant Church with her father, Pastor Mike Miller, officiating.  Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery.
