Sensory-Safe Easter Egg Hunt coming to Hutch

Posted Mar 09, 2023 2:15 PM

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Clothed in Compassion will host a Sensory-Safe Easter Egg Hunt April 1.

Each child will get an opportunity to find 12 eggs - either in the sensory gym or outside in the front lawn of Oz Chiropractic. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

All eggs will be filled with NON-EDIBLE items.

Donations for the event are still being accepted. Please contact Megan Bartley if you have any of the following items to donate: plastic Easter eggs, egg cartons (12-count), small non-edible toys to put into the eggs, drinks, snacks, disposable tableware (tablecloths, plasticware, cups, plates, napkins).

If you have a child who needs this service, sign up using their SignUp Genius link.

The individual family event is from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Choose a 15-minute time slot for your family unit. No other children/families will be present for egg hunting during your scheduled time. This is the best option for children who may need extra time/support finding their eggs, or for children who may struggle to be around other people they do not know.

Please let Miss Megan know if you would prefer to be in the sensory gym or outside on the front lawn.

11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. is the small group portion of the event.

Choose one of two 30-minute time slots to have your child(ren) participate in a small group (max. of 8 children) Easter egg hunt. Group egg hunts will be on the front lawn.
