
Jimmy Alan Lake, 71, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Vincent Lowel Lake and Betty Jean (Hall) Lake. He was raised in the Wichita area where he attended school and was a graduate of North High School. After graduation he began working at the Burlington Northern Railroad where he retired from after forty years. He loved gardening, playing the guitar and being with his family.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Krystle Lake, sister Priscilla Black, brother Venall Lake and his parents.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Davida Lake, daughter Andrea Boone (Don), son Travis Lake, grandchildren Jace Boone (Kyle), Don A. Boone, Tyler Booner, Peyton Boone, Makayla Wenzel-Lake, Makenzie Kenton, Jeremiah McKnown and Jacob McKnown, sister Patty Smith (Lyn), brother-in-law Leon Black, other family and friends.
Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 22, at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Graveside following the service at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita, Kansas.
