Juna Marie Keever, age 68, died on April 6, 2025, at her home outside of Hutchinson, Kansas. Born on August 22, 1956, she was the daughter of James E. and Betty L. Killingsworth (Holmes).

Juna had a rich and fulfilling life in education, work, and service to others. She graduated from United Township High School in 1974. Her studies continued at Hutchinson Community College in 1999, and she earned a degree from McPherson College in 2002. Her professional life included many years as a receptionist at Hutchinson Clinic before she retired. Beyond her career, Juna had a heart for volunteering and gave time generously to Open Door Health Services and Grand Staff Ministries. She was an avid animal lover, especially fond of cats. Juna had a passion for reading and writing. She wrote the column, "Leave It To Keever," which was featured in The Hutchinson Collegian. Juna also found joy in teaching Sunday school and was actively involved in several churches over the years; including First Church of the Nazarene, Union Valley Bible Church, and CrossPoint Church. Her life was a beautiful blend of learning, sharing, and loving.

On June 12, 1982, she married James W. "Jim" Keever, Jr., who survives her. Left to grieve her absence are her cherished children: Chelsey Trevino, alongside her fiancé Bradley Herbert, of Dallas, TX; Nathan Keever and his wife Abby of Oklahoma City, OK; and David Keever with his wife Leah of Hutchinson. Her beloved grandchildren, Natalie, Maverick, Mya, Landry, and Luke will forever miss her. Her sister, Amy Sutcliffe, and husband James of Leo, IN, along with countless extended family members, also mourn her loss. Juna was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sisters Victoria and Vanessa, and her brothers Russell and Darren Killingsworth.

The funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at CrossPoint Church, located at 1410 E. 30th Avenue, Hutchinson. Following the service, interment will occur at Fairlawn Burial Park.

Friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary, with the family available to receive visitors from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
