
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — For the third year, Hutchinson Career and Technical Education Academy, Hutchinson Community College, USD 308 and Greater Hutch, an Economic Development Partnership for Reno County, are collaborating to host Signing Day on Thursday, May 4 at HC&TEA.
Greater Hutch said just as they value athletes who commit to play a college sport, the signing day ceremony is designed to honor students who are entering a technical field and emphasize the importance of their career choice.
On the day of the event, high school students, parents, instructors, administration, counselors, industry partners, potential employers, local and government officials will celebrate as students join their peers to commit to their future technical program pathway of choice.
Media is invited to attend to provide media coverage.
The ceremony will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. An employer fair from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
