Nancy L. Hamilton  |1941-2022| 

Nancy L. Hamilton, 81, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at St. Dominic Hospital. She was born on September 15, 1941 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Bill and Martha (Randles) Lintecum. Nancy married Fred Clark Hamilton on June 6, 1964 at Prairie Village, Kansas. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2015.

Nancy attended Tufts University in Massachusetts for 1 year then transferred to the University of Kansas where she graduated with a double Masters in History and Political Science. She later went on to earn her Doctorate of Law Degree at the University of Houston. She was a member of St. Thomas Presbyterian Church in Houston. She volunteered for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).

She is survived by children, Martha Elizabeth Hamilton of Huntington Beach, California and Fred Colby (KiKi) Hamilton of Houston, Texas; brother, Randy (Jacqueline) Lintecum of Indio, California; sister in-law, Marjorie Buck of Iuka; brother in-law, Vern (Rayna) Taylor of San Antonio, Texas; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Hamilton of Houston, Texas.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Fred Clark Hamilton.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Iuka Cemetery, Iuka with Pastor Louis Keeling presiding.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Saint Thomas Presbyterian Church, Houston.
