MCPHERSON COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday in McPherson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Dodge Ram driven by Robert Oldenettel, 30, Hutchinson, was northbound on Kansas 61 just south of Buckskin Road.
The pickup rear-ended a 2001 Buick LeSabre driven by Paige Pollock, 15, Inman, who was traveling at a slow speed due to mechanical issues with the car.
EMS transported Pollock to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Oldenettel was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
