Florence M. Rahn, 80, passed away October 30, 2023 at her residence in Hillsboro.
She was born March 22, 1943 in Hillsboro to Leo and Margaret (Mastek) Jirak. She married Robert Rahn November 8, 1985 in Winfield.
Survivors include: husband, Robert Rahn of Hillsboro; sons, Curt (Mary Ella) Vajnar of Hays, KS, Jason (Kerri) Vajnar of Plains, KS; daughter, Amy Vajnar (Lise Hill) of Lake Tapawingo, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Diana Vajnar of Cheney; step son, Glen (Sybil) Rahn Perry, Oklahoma; step daughter, Deana Pogue of Seiling, Oklahoma; brothers, Francis, Leonard, Mike, Ron, Steve, Mark, Greg; sisters, Marie, Irene, Ann, Rita; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; Predeceased by: son, Matthew Vajnar in 2021; step-daughter, Kimberly Rahn in 1989.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father John Jirak on Friday, November 3, 2023 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Tampa at 11:00 a.m. with a Rosary at 10:00 a.m. Florence will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery rural Tampa following the Mass. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
