HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Community Quilt is now on display at the Hutchinson Art Center in the Front Gallery.

If you haven't seen it before, now is your chance!

In 2022, the Hutchinson Public Library launched the Reno County Community Quilt Project to celebrate local non-profit service organizations and governmental agencies, and their contributions to the community. Each participating organization and agency designed and created a square to represent themselves on the quilt.

In the end, the quilt features a large center square surrounded by smaller squares representing thirty-two different organizations and agencies.

The Hutchinson Public Library hopes the quilt will bring awareness to these organizations and agencies and foster a sense of community between these organizations and agencies themselves and the people they serve.

The quilt will be on display at the Art Center until the end of January, so visit soon and view this incredible collaborative effort by those in the Reno County community.
