HAVEN, Kan. — Haven USD 312 will host another of their Community Connections programs Thursday evening.
Thursday's program is entitled Social Media 101. The adults only presentation will be hosted by John Calvert, Director of Safe and Secure Schools Unit. The course will discuss the top applications that children are using today. The meeting will include discussion on what apps are used for and how they are created to hide things from adults.
This is an informational course on the purpose of apps and the common ways they are being used as well as open discussion as a community.
The hour long program starts at 5:30 p.m. at the high school library.
