HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Two people were arrested on suspicion of drug distribution in Hutchinson Friday afternoon.
The Drug Enforcement Unit took Morgan Boeschling and Jamie Boeschling into custody on suspicion of drug possession, drug distribution within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of drug proceeds, contributing to a child's misconduct, and criminal possession of a firearm.
Authorities served a search warrant at a home in the 1400 block of N. Severance. There they found 12 pounds of marijuana and other drugs, cash and nine firearms. Jamie Boeschling is free on bond while Morgan is still being held on a bond of $51,000.
Formal charges could be filed later this week.
