
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angela Kay Smith, age 57, of Hutchinson on April 26, 2025. Angie passed peacefully, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with early onset Alzheimer’s.
Born on July 5, 1967, in Hutchinson to Donald Linebaugh and Karen Owen. Graduating from Hutchinson High School in 1985. Angie met Lance while working at Dillons 5th and Adams in 1986. Encouraged by their friend Sarah, who told Angie she needed to get to know Lance. The two quickly formed a special bond and found something lasting. They were married August 15th, 1987.She was married to her devoted husband, Lance, for 37 wonderful years. Together they have 4 children and 7 grandchildren. Angie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.
Angie worked many years at Dillons as a Pharmacy Technician. She took off and stayed home to raise their children and had a small daycare. Angie last worked for the Hutchinson Clinic as a Surgery Scheduler for many years.
Angie found immense joy in spending time with her family, particularly with her children and grandchildren, who brought her so much happiness. She cherished family vacations, especially Caribbean Cruises or Disney World and treasured the memories she made with those she loved.
Angie is survived by her husband, Lance Smith; her children, Heather Smith, Brittany Aden (spouse, Zach Aden), Dallas Smith (spouse, Chloe Smith), and Nickolas Smith. Grandchildren; Jersey, Braydee, Blaze, Noah, Caleb, River, and Sutton. sisters, Kim Linebaugh, Annette Dixon (spouse Eddie Dixon), and Michelle Pease. Parents; Karen Owen and Donald Linebaugh. Angie was also Aunt Gigi to many nieces and nephews.
Angie’s love for her family and her kind-hearted nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will live on through her family.

A celebration of Angie’s life will be held on Thursday May 1st, 2025 at 1:00pm at Elliott Mortuary Chapel. The family welcomes all who knew and Loved Angie to join in remembering her remarkable life. Angie loved everything Pink, so if you want to wear something pink to honor Angie that would be great. Family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Elliott Mortuary. Friends may sign her book 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
