The American Farm Bureau’s annual market basket survey is out. It says a cookout for ten people will cost $70.92. That’s down 30 cents from last year, and that had set a record.
The big increases were in the cost of beef, potato salad, and canned pork and beans. But there are drops in the cost of pork chops, chips, and hamburger buns.
