S.A.F. Stands for "sustainable aviation fuel", and it's been in the news a lot lately.
Mexico now says it's going to try to produce its own sustainable aviation fuel by 2030. The first step will be to outline a plan of actions, including research and development, economic incentives, and feasibility.
However, Mexico would need $49 billion in U.S. investments to develop at least one SAF production facility, and that may prove to be challenging.
