Maxine Elaine McHenry, 77, of Turon, died November 6, 2022, at her daughter’s home surrounded by family. She was born June 3, 1945, in Winfield, to Alva T. and Bertha E. (Mann) Wilson.
In addition to being a homemaker, Maxine worked as a CNA and truckdriver. She enjoyed bingo, gambling, dancing, and loved Elvis, Holsteins, and family.
On October 26, 1964, Maxine married Charles E. McHenry, in Newkirk, OK. He died July 4, 2002.
She is survived by: her children, Gary (Kelley) Marlow, Raymond (Mary) Marlow, Cathy (John) Osborne, Clay (Ann) McHenry, Charles (Karen) McHenry, Carol (Russ) Armstrong, Alva (Kim) McHenry; 31 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Bellew, Kay Paxton, June Spencer, Patty Helphingstien; brothers, Alan, Dean, Richard, Joe, Perry; and numerous extended family members.
Maxine was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter, Christina McHenry; grandsons, Darren, Tyler, Anthony, Charles III, Zach; sisters, Joan Marlow, Alvalene Jones; and brothers, Howard, Wesley, Adam, Pete, Bill, Jack, and Mike.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2022, at Elliott Chapel. Burial will follow in Haven Priest cemetery. The service will be livestreamed and the link below to view it will be available beginning at 1:45 p.m. the day of the service.
