Pleasant View Home is hiring for a maintenance worker.
This job works under the supervision of the Director of Environmental Services and will help maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment.
No experience is required, however any prior experience is appreciated. On-the-job training will be provided.
This position works on a mutually agreed upon schedule.
Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Clearly read, speak and write the English language.
- See, hear or use prosthetic devices to enable use of the senses adequately.
- Sit, stand, bend, stoop, and move for extended periods of time.
- Use hands and fingers to operate equipment.
- Lift, move, push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Be licensed in accordance with current state applicable standards, if any, codes, labor laws, etc.
- Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, visitors and the general public.
- Work harmoniously with other department personnel and supervise nonprofessional personnel.
- Have the ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc.
- Be able to follow written and oral instructions.
