Alan Dean Rickard, 60, was called to heaven August 6, 2021. His strong will to live, the love & prayers of family and friends sustained him throughout his cancer battle. Alan was known for his love of music, air guitar skills and riding his Harley. The simple things in life gave him a contagious spark at any get together or event. He was born to Gary Lee & Doris ‘Kay’ Rickard, in Scott City, KS, on April 18, 1961.
Survived by fiancé Mona Cramer (Alan's Angel on earth). Sisters: Lori Kay (Clyde) Billups of Winterhaven, CA., and Sue Ann (Javier) Lopez of Platte City, MO. Children: Dustin J. Chestnutt, Aimee Allen, Ethan Hill, Justin Cramer. Uncles and Aunts; Walter and Sylvia Burt (Holcomb, KS), Tom and Janet Rickard (Meade, KS), Beverly Ann Strickert (Independence, MO), Jeanette O’Hair (Coldwater, KS). Grandchildren: Kyla Chestnutt, Kayla Cramer. Nieces and nephews: Leanna and Miguel Garcia, Madison Lopez, and Gabi Lopez; great-nephews Michael, Israel and Judah Garcia
