OHH, boy!! There are so many wonderful things to say about Naomi. Naomi Ruth Rudiger was born on November 9, 1941 in McPherson, Kansas, the daughter of Jospeph and Susie (Jantz) Rudiger. Naomi was also known as Grandma to those who loved her. Naomi was one of a kind. She was ornery and funny. She had a beautiful smile and was happy and upbeat even when she didn't feel well. Naomi was very aware of who she cared about too. She was especially aware of the handsome men that worked with her. She would stare at them, call them boy and say, "OHH, boy!" Naomi was quite the flirt!! If she liked you, she would lean her forehead in towards you so that she could be kissed, then she'd say, "OHH, boy!"

Throughout the years she lived at home with her parents until 1966; then she moved to North View Manor in McPherson; then to the Reno County Adult Care Facility in Hutchinson until 1979. She later moved to the Focus Development Center until 1998; finally moving to ResCare Community Living in Winfield until her passing on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at the age of 82 years.

Years ago, when Naomi was younger, she loved nothing more than a bubble bath, morning coffee and being read to during her morning coffee. Naomi knew and very much liked sticking with her daily routine, she would let you know if her routine was disrupted. Naomi loved having her nails painted. She loved being pampered and especially having lotion put on her body on a daily basis.

Naomi spent her time people watching, coloring, looking through magazines, playing Connect Four and pushing the ball down the alley during bowling. Naomi especially enjoyed watching the Price is Right. She did not like to miss her show and she'd let you know about that too.

Naomi was very picky about what she wore. She enjoyed the "layered look" by wearing blue jeans over her polyester pants, camisoles under her pullover tops. She was quite the fashionista.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joyce Chaika; and brothers, Elmer and Walter Rudiger.

Naomi will be missed by many; she will remain in our hearts forever.
