HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson USD 308 announced on Monday that the 4-year-old preschool walk in enrollment session is canceled due to the weather. Parents can still fill out pre enrollment information online.
The free program is for USD 308 families and children must be 4 years old on or before August 31, 2021, to be eligible.
The district provides a full day program that lasts from 7:55 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. USD 308 will provide busing to and from school within the USD 308 district boundaries at no charge. Students will be served breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.
The next walk-in application clinic will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on March 9. Other following dates include April 13, May 4, May 18 and May 22 all at the Avenue A School at 111 S Madison. Final enrollment will take place in August.
Families who have completed pre-enrollment paperwork and meet our program criteria, will have a “slot” reserved for their child. Out of district students will be placed on a waiting list and accepted on a case by case basis as space allows.
