Cody Ray Allen Curl, 26, of McPherson, KS, passed away at 5:41 pm, Tuesday, October 31, 2023, in Burrton, KS.

Cody was born in Salina, Kansas on June 24, 1997, a son of Kelsey Ray Curl and Antoinette Marie (Curl) Caldwell. Cody attended Roosevelt grade school, McPherson, KS, and graduated from Nickerson High School, Nickerson, Ks. He then attended Donnelly College, Lansing, Ks. where he received his Associates Degree in Business Management and later received a Welding Certificate for industrial welding.

Through the years Cody worked for Apac Road Construction, Hutchinson, Ks., he then worked as a pipeline welder for many years and was currently working for TL Steel, Burrton, Ks as a welder. Cody was a great football player, he enjoyed boating, wrestling, camping and spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his mother, Antoinette Caldwell (Eric), of McPherson, KS; his brother, Dustin Curl (Michelle), of McPherson, KS; girlfriend, Ashley Jennings, of Halstead, KS; his grandparents, Mark & Connie Powell, of McPherson, Ks. and Harold & Missy Curl, of McPherson; his grandmother, Kathy Hornecker (Terry), of Wichita, Ks.; his uncles, Aaron Curl, of Wichita, KS, Uncle Huey (Significant other) Heather Andes, of Medora, Ks, Marty Andes, of Wichita, KS., Nathan Harold (Ashley), of McPherson, Ks., Eric Harold, of McPherson, Ks., cousins, Kirsten Campbell and Addy Carrillo, Hauna Nelson and his loving dog, Sister Marie; other relatives and a host of friends.

Cody was preceded in death by his father, Kelsey Curl and his sister Courtney Curl. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Glidden - Ediger- Wiggins Chapel in McPherson, KS. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Glidden - Ediger- Wiggins Chapel in McPherson, KS with Lynn Scott officiating.

Burial will be held at McPherson Cemetery, McPherson, Ks.. Memorials may be made to Cody Curl Memorial Fund and they can be sent to Glidden-Ediger-Wiggins Funeral Home; 222 W. Euclid St., McPherson, Ks.
