HUTCHINSON. Kan. — Formal charges have been filed against an 18-year-old Hutchinson man who led law enforcement on a high speed chase through three counties Aug. 10th.
Logan Myers faces four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of felony flee and elude, and single counts of reckless driving, failure to carry insurance, failure to have registration and no drivers license.
Myers is accused of leading Harvey and Sedgwick County authorities on a chase that eventually moved into Reno County. Law enforcement found Myers at the intersection of 4th and Airport Road. He fled from that area into the county again where he ran a vehicle off the road. He eventually stopped in Sedgwick County and was taken into custody. The four counts of aggravated assault stem from the vehicle he ran off the road. The vehicle had a woman and three children inside.
Myers is still being held on a $52,000 bond.
