HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Due to the predicted weather forecast and dangerous wind chills, the following Hutch Rec facilities and programs will be canceled or closed on Monday, February 15:
Hutch Rec Downtown, 17 E. 1st
Hutch Rec Downtown will be closed. Staff will be working from home and available between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. taking phone calls and answering emails. For more information, call (620) 663-6179.
Dillon Nature Center, 3002 E. 30th Ave.
Dillon Nature Center facility will be closed. This includes trails, grounds, and the Visitor’s Center. Staff will be available between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. taking phone calls and answering emails. For more information, call (620) 663-7411.
Hutchinson Sports Arena, 13th & Sesher Plaza
The Hutchinson Sports Arena will be CLOSED for community walking and pickleball. At this time, the facility plans to re-open at 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 15 for MINDBODY evening fitness classes and scheduled basketball practices in the auxiliary gyms. For more information, call (620) 665-3331.
Senior Center at Elmdale Park, 400 E. Ave. E
No curbside carry-out lunches. Lunch program will resume on Wednesday, February 17. The Senior Center is currently closed to members due to COVID-19 restrictions. For more information or to order lunches for Wednesday, call (620) 663-2811.
