Registration is now open for Buhler USD 313's Fall Driver's Education program, and students do not have to attend the Buhler school district to participate.
The eight-week program will run from Sept. 14 through Oct. 30 and combines a self-paced online curriculum with one-on-one driving instruction. The program is designed to give students flexibility with classroom material while providing hands-on driving experience with a qualified instructor.
Students must be at least 14 years old to participate.
Students who already have a learner's permit will receive priority when driving instruction is scheduled. Those who do not yet have a permit will have an opportunity to take the permit test at Prairie Hills Middle School with instructor Abby Thompson. Permit testing will be available by appointment.
