
Mark Alan Loehr, 69, died July 16, 2023, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS. He was born September 9, 1953, in Wichita, KS, to John Lester and Martha Marie (Hilger) Loehr.
Mark was a 1971 graduate of Haven High School, Haven, KS. He was employed by Panhandle Eastern Pipeline as an Operator A, retiring in 2013 with over 35 years of service.
On November 27, 1974, Mark married his high school sweetheart, Bobbie Gayle Venters, in Hutchinson, KS. They shared over 34 years of marriage, prior to her death on July 16, 2009.
Mark is survived by: his daughters, Chandra (Aaron) Robertson of Cheney, KS, Robin (Robert) Bell of Andale, KS, and Haylie (Wayne) Reese of Mount Hope, KS; daughter-in-law, Tricia Loehr of Haven, KS; grandchildren, McKenzie Robertson, Gage Robertson, Jase Robertson, Raelyn Bell, Robert Bell, Reanna (Jerad) Penner, Emilyn Reese, Kynlie Reese, Lance Loehr, and Wade Loehr; mother-in-law, Jean Hurt of Haven, KS; sisters, Tina (Fred) Stuhlsatz of Garden Plain, KS, Marla Loehr of Zenda, KS, and Kristi (Rudy) Lopez of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Hal (Ruth) Loehr, Tim (Pat) Loehr, and Troy (Janet) Loehr, all of Garden Plain, KS; and sister-in-law, Robin Loehr of Conway Springs, KS.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife; son, John Mark Loehr; sister, Leslie McElheny and husband Pat; and brother, Rod Loehr.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2023, at Elliott Mortuary, with the Reverend Dr. Kim Biery officiating. Burial will follow in Laurel Cemetery, rural Haven, KS. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 27, 2023, with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.
