UPDATED: Jeff Hooper no longer with City of Hutchinson

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson will be searching for a new police chief. 

According to the city's website, Alan Stoecklein is the Interim Chief.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the city's website lists Alan Stoecklein as the Interim Chief of Police.

City Manager Kendal Francis told Hutch Post that the city does not comment on personnel matters, but Hutch Post personnel saw then Chief Jeff Hooper in uniform at the KLETC event Monday afternoon.

According to a screenshot of an email to police employees provided to Hutch Post, Hooper was terminated, effective immediately, on Tuesday.
