KANSAS CITY —Police are investigating another fatal shooting in Kansas City, Missouri.
Just after 7:30p.m. Thursday, police were dispatched to the area of 55th and Wabash on the sound of gunshots, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.
Officers checked the area and located a vehicle mid block to the south in the east side alley. Inside the vehicle officers located an a woman shooting victim unresponsive. Officers called for EMS who responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene canvassing for any witnesses. The shooting appears to have happened in the alley of the location, according to Becchina. Police have not released the name of the victim.
