HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The next Saturday Night at the Y coming up on Dec. 9 will have something special for the middle schoolers that attend.&nbsp;

"Saturday, Dec. 9 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. here at the Y, in addition to all of the other usual fun activities, we are going to be giving away 100 free backpacks to the first 100 students that show up," said David Foster with the Hutchinson YMCA. "Thanks to our partners, Hutchinson USD 308 for providing us the backpacks."

The average attendance for a Saturday Night at the Y so far this school year is between 80 and 100.
