RENO COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Reno County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Toyota Sienna driven by David N. Renno, 55, Sunray, Texas, failed to yield at a stop sign going on to U.S. 50 at Morgan Avenue in Hutchinson.
An eastbound 2015 Chevy Equinox driven by Donald R. Alexander, 76, South Hutchinson, struck the Toyota in the driver side quarter panel.
EMS transported a passenger in the Chevy Betty J. Alexander, 78, South Hutchinson to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. The drivers and a passenger in the Toyota were not injured. All four were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
