
WYANDOTTE COUNTY—Law enforcement investigating a double-homicide in Kansas City, Kansas have released the names of the victims from the September 12th double-homicide at N. 7th St. and Nebraska Ave.
The victims are 40-year-old Chardae Johnson of Kansas City, Kansas and 65-year-old Anthony Shelby of Kansas City, Missouri, according to a statement from Kansas City, Kansas Police.
Just before 3:30p.m. on September 12, police were dispatched to a reported shooting at N. 7th Street and Nebraska Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, according to a media release. First responders found three adult individuals with apparent gunshot wounds. All three subjects were transported to an area hospital where Johnson and Shelby were pronounced deceased. The third individual sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

On September 13, police arrested 48-year-old Elgin B. Brown at his residence in Kansas City, Missouri and charged him in Wyandotte County with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder.
Police also arrested 47-year-old Myisha Donaldson and charged her with one count of obstruction of apprehension or prosecution.
Both suspects were extradited from the Jackson County, Missouri Jail and are now being held in Wyandotte County.
