HAVEN, Kan. — According to information posted on social media, progress has continued toward the opening of the Haven pool.
The pool was filled with water earlier this week and the pumps have been tested, but staff is still preparing the bathhouse for use and ensuring the water chemistry is correct.
An official opening date has not been set. The current goal is to have the pool open in the next 10 to 15 days, barring any unforeseen difficulties with pump equipment and water chemistry.
The pool was closed in 2019 after necessary repairs failed to correct several problems, but those problems have now been addressed.
