HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Smallville Festival continues into the evening at the Kansas State Fairgrounds with a Fair Food and Tunes event June 17.
"We are going to do the Smallville obstacle run out on the racetrack," said Bryan Schulz with the Kansas State Fair. "There will be three events that are going on, there's the 5K at STRATACA, then downtown there will be the, kind of like the Amazing Race type of event and that will all culminate out at the Fairgrounds. 6:00 p.m., we will do the awards ceremony and at 7 p.m., we have Steel Skarecrow on the People's Bank and Trust Arena. That will go until 9:00 p.m. That will be our Fair Food and Tunes for this year."
Here is the schedule on the Fairgrounds:
11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Food/Beverage Vendors open
Food includes:
Mel’s Diner
Pronto Pup
Dusek Quesadillas & Funnel Cakes
The Beer Trailer
5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Smallville Show & Shine Car and Bike Show
6 p.m. Awards from races of the day
Axe It Up Hutch will also have a pay to play trailer.
