COWLEY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident Thursday in Cowley County.
The call came in just before 12:30p.m. from the 18,000 block of 236th Road, according to Cowley County Sheriff Dave Faletti. An individual was pinched between a vehicle and a pump jack.
EMS transported the patient to the William Newton Hospital in Winfield and air lifted to Wichita. The patient was transported prior to law enforcement arriving on scene. Authorities had no additional details on the victim or their condition early Friday.
