Barbara J. Wagner, 71 years old passed away December 5, 2022 in Wichita, Kansas.
Barbara was Co-Owner of Wagner Trucking with her husband Gene. Barb and Gene were Lifetime members of Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association. They enjoyed their travels, sightseeing and taking pictures of mother nature while they were driving across country. Barb used the CB Handle Rhinestone Cowgirl for over 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Wagner, son Steve Smith, son-in-law Bob Bowdre, her parents Alice (Williamson) and Pete Herrick Sr., sisters Loletta Voyles and Darlene Smith.
Barbara is survived by her son Lance (LaDonna) Smith and daughter Tonya Bowdre of Wichita; grandchildren: Tiffany (Chris) Kennedy, Amber Smith, Brianna Coss, Jaimie (Allen) Haywood, Jessica Smith, Preston (Justina) Smith, Brandi Smith, Tyler (Sarena) Smith, all of Wichita, Charlie (Jake) SternWood of California and Landon (Kira) Smith of Shawnee Mission, Kansas; 19 great grandchildren; brothers Pete Herrick Jr. and Cleo Herrick of Wichita, sisters Sandy McDaniel and Betty Warden of Wichita; many other family and friends.
A Visitation service will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 13, at Baker Funeral Home Chapel, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center, Kansas 67147. A Graveside will be following at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N. Oliver, Wichita, Kansas 67208.
