Norma Jean Koehn Koehn Mastre, 96, died Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Moundridge Manor, Moundridge, KS. She was born April 1, 1928 in Galva, Kansas to Pete W. and Clara (Nichols) Koehn.
On September 16, 1951 she married Otis Koehn. He passed away August 21, 1965. She later married Orval Mastre on June 12, 1988. Orval passed away November 17, 2019.
Norma was a member of the Lone Tree Mennonite Church, Galva Kansas. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by children – Weldon (Darlene), Halstead, KS; Daniel (Rosie), Halstead, KS; Charles (Liz), Prairie, MS; Floyd (Bethene), Halstead, KS; Edith (James) Jesser, Iroquois, SD; Larry (Lynette), Halstead, KS. Stepchildren – Glenda (Lewellyn) Unruh, Galva, KS; Ron (Nevelyn), Del Norte, CO; Patricia (Earl) Toews, Victoria, TX; Wade (Mary) Centerville TN; 20 grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren; 60 great grandchildren; 47 step great grandchildren; 8 step great great grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers Chester, Willard and Kenneth Koehn and two sisters Bernice and Vada.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands Otis Koehn and Orval Mastre, 1 son, Sanford, 1 great granddaughter, 2 step great grandchildren, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Gardenview Mennonite Church. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m., Monday, June 3, at Moundridge Funeral Home, with family greeting friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Gardenview Mennonite Church, Halstead, KS.
