
Vickiann “Vicki” Galloway, 68, died February 7, 2026, at her home in Partridge. She was born October 26, 1957, in Hutchinson, to Max Lynn and Clara Naomi (O’Hara) Stiggins.
Vicki graduated from Haven High School in 1975 and attended Wichita State University, earning a bachelor's degree in education. She later went on and received her master’s degree in history from Emporia State University. Vicki worked as a mail carrier for the Partridge community for many years, before becoming the librarian for the Partridge Grade School. She most recently worked at the Reno County Education Coop as a gifted facilitator until retiring at the end of 2019. Vicki enjoyed cooking and baking. Her greatest love was her family; Vicki cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and attending their school events. Vicki was a devoted member of Partridge Community Church and liked to sing in the church’s choir.
On June 3, 1979, she married Brad Harris Galloway, at Partridge Community Church, Partridge. They shared over 45 years of marriage, prior to his death on August 3, 2024.
Vicki is survived by: her sons, Tyler (Lindsey) Galloway of Nickerson and Wes (Tish Gaylord) Galloway of Haven; beloved grandchildren, Hunter (Mattyson) Galloway, Talon Lentz, both of Haven; Taylor, Paisley and Harper Galloway, all of Nickerson; great-granddaughter, Maylee Galloway of Haven; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband; sisters, Janice “Jan” Richardson and Ginger Stiggins.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2026, at Partridge Community Church, 218 Main, Partridge. Cremation has taken place.
