HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Fire Department conducted vehicle extrication training this week at the Fire Department training grounds.

The class had an outside of the department instructor, Isaac Frazier, who shared the knowledge he acquired while working wrecks on I-95, one of the deadliest highways in America.

The two day class reinforced basic extrication skills, along with picking up and moving large loads that may be encountered on the roadway.

The Hutchinson Fire Department would like to thank Silas Enterprises for obtaining 18 vehicles to cut on and Brett Liker construction for lending the department a telehandler to move and position vehicles around.

The department notes that they could not have had the training class without that help.
