Junior Lee Janzen, 90, of Hesston passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Pine Village, Moundridge. He was born on Dec. 16, 1932, to Otto and Irma Janzen.

Junior lived in the Goessel area until he and Joyce Albrecht were married and moved to Hesston in 1956, where they lived and raised five children.

He was a member of Kingdom Life Ministries.

Junior was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; son, Kerry; parents; brothers, Maynard and Stuart Janzen; and sisters, Sharon Weldeghebriel and Delpha Dean Janzen.

He is survived by four children, Kris (Fred) Townsend, McPherson, Keith (Dot) Janzen, McPherson, Kenton (Tyann) Janzen, Brighton, CO, and Kyle (Carolyn) Janzen, Hesston. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and his brother, Leon Janzen, Hesston.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023, at Kingdom Life Ministries, 505 S Ridge Rd, Hesston. A private family burial will be at Eastlawn Cemetery. There will be a time to greet the family at Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Hesston, on Friday, Aug. 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Pine Village or Rocky Mountain Mennonite Camp in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, PO Box 32, Hesston, KS 67062.
