HUTCHINSON, Kan. — According to a Friday report from Reno County Deputy Elections Clerk Jenna Fager, there have already been some filings for the 2024 election.
Currently filed to run are:
Reno County Commissioner- District 2
Ron Hirst- Republican
Reno County Sheriff
Darrian Campbell- Republican
Reno County Clerk
Donna Patton- Republican
Reno County Treasurer
Richele Calvert- Republican
Hirst, Campbell and Patton are all incumbents. Calvert was elected by the precinct committee to finish out Brenda Kowitz's term, but has not yet faced a general election.
