
Johnny Allen Gulick was born in California, October 29, 1960. He passed away June 16, 2023, at his home in Hutchinson, KS, surrounded by family.
John is preceded in death by both of his parents and step father.
John is survived by his brothers, Steve and Robert, sister, Mary, his wife of 39 years, Jody (Silcott) Gulick, three children, Dustin (Kelsea) Teague, Matthew (Samantha) Gulick, Meghan (Nick) Gulick Lukone, and 13 grandchildren.
John married the love of his life on December 8, 1984. Family has always been very important to John and Jody, and John worked very hard in his life for those he loved. John worked as a plow laborer for Krause, and was the supervisor at Rainbow Bakery.
John always took pride in his yard and loved to mow yards after his retirement. He and his wife Jody were the camp hosts at Cheney Lake for several years, where they met a lot of good people. You could always find John with friends and family, at a garage party or around a campfire. He enjoyed camping and spoonbill fishing. One of his favorite past times was going to coffee every morning, sitting with the guys talking, laughing and joking.
A Celebration of Life for John Gulick will be held at the Home Builders Shelter in Carey Park, Hutchinson, KS, August 11th, 2023, at 2pm. A remembrance service will begin at 3, all are welcome to bring photos and share memories.
