HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Today is election day. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.&nbsp;

There are city and school board elections on the ballot, along with three ballot questions in Reno County.

The one county wide question is the question on whether or not to keep the 30% food requirement for liquor by the drink. This question was prompted by the struggles Sandhills Brewing had the last time they tried to renew their liquor license.

There is also a local question in the city of Pretty Prairie on whether or not to keep a breed specific ordinance for dogs.

There is a local question in The Highlands that, if passed, would prevent anyone from using their home as a short term rental, like an Airbnb.
