HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Most residents in northeast and northcentral Reno County were without power and it could be sometime before all service is restored.
According to Evergy more than 10,000 customers were without power as of 6 p.m. Wednesday night. Evergy could not say when power would be restored due to the large number of small outages throughout the city.
The area of Reno County from Haven west to Pleasantview and then north to near Nickerson and east to Buhler was the area that was hardest hit in central Kansas with around 9,200 customers without service.
One of the major outages involves a large section in the central parts of Hutchinson in an area from 14th Avenue south to 2nd Avenue and from Monroe east to Severance
