Juan Manuel Burciaga-Rodriguez, 69 passed away at home July 18, 2023. He was born March 8, 1954 in Morieleno, Chihuahua Mexico to Cruz Burciaga and Exiquia Arrieta Rodriguez.
He had a large loving family that consisted of his wife, Cheri (Lewis) who preceded him in death; his twin sister Juana Burciaga-Rodriguez; other siblings, Rafael Burciaga-Rodriguez, Celestino Burciaga-Rodriguez, Alejandra Burciaga-Rodriguez, Aureliza Burciaga-Rodriguez, Clara Maria Burciaga-Rodriguez and Rosa Burciaga-Rodriguez; 35 nieces and nephews and numerous other family members.
Juan had a lifelong passion for baseball who was a talented Minor league baseball player. He enjoyed spending time with his great friends. He profoundly missed being able to spend more time with his family.
He retired from the City of Hutchinson where he worked 31 years.
Juan was a very hard working, generous, amazing man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Cremation has taken place. No service is planned at this time. Memorials may be made to the Juan Burciaga Memorial fund in care of Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
