
Perry Lee Stutzman, 80, of South Hutchinson, died December 27, 2023, at Mennonite Friendship Communities. He was born March 28, 1943, in Hutchinson, to Tobias and Emma (Nisly) Stutzman.
Perry was a long-time employee of Pleasantview Home Improvement and then was a truck driver for ProVia Doors. He was a member of Center Amish Mennonite Church and gladly served in any way he was asked. Perry loved music and singing, he belonged to the Mennonite Men’s Chorus. He loved history and loved people. Perry always remembered dates, recalling all birthdays, anniversaries, and significant events from memory.
On March 13, 1971, he married Judith Nisly in Hutchinson. They shared 52 years of marriage together.
Perry is survived by: wife, Judith, South Hutchinson; sons, Owen Stutzman (Wanda), South Hutchinson, Lyle Stutzman (Maria), Washington, Indiana; nine grandchildren; siblings, Glenn Stutzman, Ervin Stutzman, and Erma Yoder.
He was preceded in death: his parents; daughters, Julia Ann Stutzman, Twila Joyce Stutzman; and sisters, Edith Stutzman and Mary Edna Yoder.
Funeral service will be 10 am Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Center Amish Mennonite Church. Burial will follow in West Center Amish Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 pm Saturday, at Center Amish Mennonite Church.
