ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating two suspects on drug allegations.
Just after 5a.m. April 26, police checked on a vehicle that was parked at Dam 1 at 3rd and Harper Drive in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
The two occupants in the vehicle, Sidney Darrenkamp and Marsoleno Ryland, were found to be in possession of controlled substances and taken into custody.
Sidney M. Darrenkamp, 26, is being held on requested charges of possession of opiates, possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Taken to County Jail.
Marsoleno D. Ryland, 44, Atchison, is being held on requested charges of possession of fentanyl, possession of synthetic marijuana, and possession of marijuana.
