Ralph E. Hiebert, 73, died June 24, 2026, at his home in Hutchinson. He was born February 4, 1953, in Hutchinson, to Bernard and Arlie (Taylor) Hiebert.

Ralph graduated from Nickerson High School in 1971. Playing the lottery, fishing, and spending time with his family, friends, and pets were the highlights of his life.

On January 12, 1973, he married Toni Renee Kuntz, at the South Hutchinson Christian Church.

Ralph is survived by: his wife of 53 years, Toni of Hutchinson; daughters, Nadine Hiebert of Roeland Park and Samantha Hiebert of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Maggie, Sydney, Simon, and Bethany; sister, Glennys Tedder of Hutchinson; numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends; and his 4-legged companion, Charlie.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; sisters, Vera Ummel, Betty Greever, Phyllis Balzer, and Ardith May; and a brother, Paul Hiebert.

Celebration of Life for Ralph will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, June 26, 2026, at Carey Park Home Builder's Shelter, 2 Emerson Loop, Hutchinson. Family and friends are invited to come share a meal, memories, and stories of Ralph. Private inurnment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Friends may sign his book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson.

In lieu of flowers and memorials, and because of his love for fishing, Ralph requested his family and friends "take a kid fishing"!
