Pabla Parra, 85, of Hutchinson, died July 2, 2026, surrounded by family at her home. She was born June 29, 1941, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Mateo and Rosalia (Hernandez) Estrada.

In May 1971, Pabla married Juan Parra, in Chihuahua, Mexico. They shared 50 years of marriage before his death on September 3, 2020.

Pabla was a dedicated homemaker who took great care of her family and those around her. She designated Sundays as family day and cherished the memories made with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Pabla enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and shopping. She especially enjoyed her novelas.

Pabla was a devoted and active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Pabla is survived by: daughters, Irma (Manuel) Andrade, Adela (Ruben) Gomez, Maria (Julio) Martinez, Josefina (Felix) Padilla and Rosalia (Alonso) Villagomez; sons, Carlos (Veronica) Estrada and Juan Parra; sisters, Alicia and Eustolia; brothers, Ignanico, Espiridion, and Franscisco; 24 beloved grandchildren and eight adored great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her: parents; husband, Juan Parra; and siblings, Guadalupe Estrada and Arturo Estrada.

Parish Rosary will be 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 612 S. Maple St. South Hutchinson. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the church. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park. Friends may call Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson, KS 67501.
