NEWTON, Kan. — The Newton Police Department is accepting nominations for the annual Blue Christmas program, which provides gifts to families in need during the holiday season. To be eligible, you must live in the city of Newton, and spots will be limited.
To nominate a family, please contact Cpl. Morgan Gronau at 316-284-6030 or by email. When nominating a family, please provide a name and phone number where they can be reached. We will be accepting nominations until Dec. 6.
If you would like to make a donation to the program, please contact Cpl. Gronau or stop by the Police Department, 120 E. 7th St., during business hours.
